The toddler program offers children a unique opportunity for development in a supportive, respectful environment. The program offers basic age-appropriate Montessori works to encourage separation from parent, development of concentration, coordination, and good work habits.
This program is unhurried and supportive of the child in their early strides for independence. Children are able to separate from their parents in a positive, enjoyable way and benefit from new experiences. Goals for the class include: helping children be happy and productive, working by themselves or with others, experiencing music, stories, nature study, art, and fostering both large and small muscle development. Children do not need to be toilet trained for this program.
Outside play, stories and music are part of each day in the toddler room. The toddler day is from 8:00 am until noon.
