Art
Students study with local artist Lisa Mathis (www.lisamathis.com) at her studio in downtown Sanford. They learn technique and concepts while using a variety of media. Students are encouraged to use their imagination in their work.
Music
Music class combines singing, music theory and the study of great composers and musicians. Students also learn to play the recorder with accompaniment.
Physical Education
Students are introduced to individual and team activities that assist the development of gross motor skills. Weekly classes emphasize team participation, sportsmanship, and fun.
Drama
Students and professionals work together to create an experience in the theatre. This program is done in conjunction with the Temple Theatre.
Foreign Language
Students learn basic vocabulary and conversational phrases in foreign languages. They also experience activities, food geography, music, games, artwork, and more.
